Who IS this one?
a)Where is an affect? It cannot be simply in a me. I cannot be the one with the affect. But if not who/
b)Affects really inhabit those strange little other wordly figures that inhabit our minds. The figures which allow us to grasp at someone else. The figures that allow us to think of what that other must be, and how they must play out.
c)Such a figure is part angle, or Daemon. That is they become a cipher able to forcaste events. They become a rock in my personality. An agent to think with. Or they become a pointer or part of my memory. The point a mind is taken elsewhere. Or even pointer which demands that I am and remain utterly beholden to it.
d)But on the otherside such a figure is of course a cripple, who is unable to effectively move of operate in their own right.
e) There value leis in their remarks, but also in their work. That is in there ability to double up every experience. As longs as I think of you, I think on you thinking. We are therefore reflected together.
f) But this then opens a questions. What does the little seamstress in the mind, the maker of dolls think of the likes of me? How does one suppose I am/
g)this is a nuanced question. it is not just I that I am creating them to hold this gaze me, but also what I am is in a sense the product or result of such a gaze. To be a me is to have n idea of how others my mind are watching me, and calling my to account.
h) These others will therefore be inclined to tyranny. That is the easiest route is always to allow the others, the guest of a mind a power beyond anything I myself can utter. They become or demand to be the master, and the follower.
i)Such a tyranny is of course the polar point of such a figure. Where would an I be if there was not tyrant making a me to me within.
j) I am that which is reflected in that mirror. The light it sends back, into other yes (also my own0.
k)But what then is the form it captures/ what lies in the mirror itself, a point as if to any other side for it?
l)What is it but the affect.
m) The Affect is that element that feeling or condition which exists between people. Here is an anger in the room, the question is whose is it/ there is an illness, but who is ill. There is a fear, is it me or you.
n) Between you an I lies myriad feelings. So who feels what. A oddly difficult question.
o) If I simply take up feelings I sort to growl that the feeling is my own. Look at me I say. I am the one that is angry or sad. I am the one that is glad or mad. You, what do you matter. Cry.
p) My own ability feel becomes then utter selfishness on my own part.
q) And yet it is a weird selfishness. One the one hand you might need me to be giving this feeling. I might be wakening on the burden for a you. That is without me there grabbing the affect you might have needed to ,and maybe that would not have worked out well for a you.
r)But also ,and even more critical, the affect needs expression.
s) Affects are powerful, as they are driven forward. In sweeping up people, they configure for good or ill situations.
t) Then enforce images on the world, and make the world different.
u) They transform.
v) This transformation is of course beyond the one person. The affect is essentially that which runs across different humans. That which cannot be simply located and contained.
w)Affects overflow boundaries, and sweep elements along or sideway. They blast into individuals and make the different.
x) To do this they of course need people to enable them. People who will allow his affect to be
y) such agents are then caught up in a odd travesty of justice. Hey act. They act both n selfish motives, b also in good. Both at once.
z) It makes almost no sense to tell the to apart. O better one cannot tell which will resolve into which.
aa) To follow the affect becomes then as a gamble against the fate of selfishness of excessive owning. Ones best act can also be ones work if owned the wrong way.
bb) One worse acts, might warp gently into being ones best. The melting pot of the affect allows many shifts and changes.
cc)The game is therefore o allow the oddness the difference in. You own it, but never too definitively. To allow it perhaps, and where it might lead, without becoming too caught up and fixed in that allowing.
dd) But then one is caught up in the problem o exact where one ones this feeling? here they are are two very different poles o possibility.
ee) On the one hand one might think of an affect in terms of worldly amusement. The role then of an affect is to ensure that a certain number of peoples lives are made good by the affect itself.
ff) it role is therefore delimited in scope. But in this scope it works wonders. Something locally is past form me to you. My capacity to feel, my time becomes your wealth, and together we are a system.
gg) My mind is therefore at you service, and your is at mine, and there is no real moral point in crying not fair – you have the cushy job! Someone needs to be as you are, and someone as I am.
hh) The affect therefore as it demands many roles appears rather conservative a force. But on the other hand in these role, those who labour as they feel, might be part of other pictures beyond the local exchanges. I might therefore merely be a part in one system, but my affect s and my effects might reach up to others, and become parts in the dance of angels or daemons.
ii) Than is while as I judge in the one system what is mine and what is yours and when and why it matters, I also as I am a part in a different system open to other judgement.
jj)In eternity you might not be at all – for all you matter in this world. The affect is what survives as it is active, and merely the capacity to possess as a self that affect is rather friable and losable in the world.
kk)One needs then caution in lauding the system. One needs not fall in the trap of relishing too much owning, a relish that will always loose its pepper.
ll) But on the other side here is another deep problem with affect. What happens if one rides them all without owning of them
mm)That is what happens if one does not create a self in the light the mirror shines the monstrous light off the little doll maker?
nn) One then becomes merely a child. Caught up in the drug induced stupor of affects. One become utterly unable o resolve ones own nature beyond this stupidity. One wanders in and out, and drinks in the mean time.
oo) Ones entire personality is then held together o the wrong side of the mirror.
pp)That is it is not a reflect, but rather that which is tumbling into the reflection.
qq) The silver of the mirror, the acid tongue of the watcher is what captures a mind, and does so in a way that is not reflected.
rr)The mirror holds the image as it must, but does not want to broadcast it. I hold the drugged mind, and yet does not what anyone else o see it.
ss) Affects re therefore dangerous I might utterly loose what I am in them. I might that the wrong side of the mirror with only the reflector herself there to hold me together.
tt) To feels is therefore to be poses a problem.
uu) Am I going to feel too much or too little?
vv) The questions which to choose.
