Notes on a passionate life.




a)It runs without saying that passion looks to an needs life. Passion is an adjunctive of life. It is the ability life has to take the affairs of the world and reload them with other meanings. As I am  alive, I will rework a world to include space with it to express that living elements. Anonymous life is therefore the force within which passion negotiates or creates for itself its own feeling. It is the force that must then allow an identity to function.

b)But life does that need passion? In a sense of course not. it needs nothing and no one. And yet is passion it sees is handy work and looks to its power. To walk with a passionate man is therefore for it to feel itself directed and powerful in some sense. It looks no the face of a man therefore an knows something will happen  some act will follow, some consequence rise form itself. Passion therefore provides life with its active purpose. It expresses why it matters, and makes it matter.

c)More than that – passion that is the localizing of the power of life in a certain series pf perceptions, offers to that living element a away to defy possibility. Or to put it another way, life assumes that the possible ought to be operating in it favour. Whatever sacrifice life makes it assumes firstly that it will survive and secondly that surviving it will gain in power an influence.

d)Living  therefore is the force that never dies in vain. It dies so that it might life elsewhere (another life as a lock keeper beckons), and in dying it expects reward. My death ought therefore somehow to benefit someone or something. Live is the concern to ensure that it does. I rot to another glory.

e)Life assumes or rather always operates as if possibility were it allow or governor. It does so in spite of the fact that the possible carries on it own sweet way. The possible cares not a button for life itself. It can take it or leave it. There is as much chance of lifeless Venus as there is on the earth.

f) Life is therefore poised claiming more of the possible that the possible will give. Live wants privileged access, but no such access is open or ready.

g)Passion is likewise rages against the possible. Passion demands control over world

h)Here though one needs caution Passion faced with the possible merely wants to control hat possible. In a sense it has no answer to it. Passion for itself therefore operates in making the world more significant. It adds meaning. Faced then with chance and with affects, it merely charges up the desire to somehow control the meting or the two , or a least to witness it. It has therefore not a logical clear goal. It simply wants and wants with an absolute and soul crushing desire to be present as affects whisk the possible away.

i)It wants or craves therefore to  be the witness in another’s game. A point in their power. this craving to witness chance become dominate. It forces on the passionate soul a world.

j) This warping itself is of course problematic. As it is warped into this desire, it looses sense of reality and must it knows it witnessed the encounter kill (someone including itself). The life it leads and the counter become therefore muddled up. It lives to witness, and it witnessing something somewhere will die.

k)This aspect of a live, a passion carried to its extension – is however tricky to hold down. Normality muscles into it, and would heal it is it could. The passionate mind therefore needs to tend it madness and ensure that nothing and no one take it away.

l)Or to put the same argument one last way. passion wants to be in at the moment possibility looses its any which way element an is caught up a vortex of the affect. It wants to see then what it is in the charm f the man worlds that it lacks. That is exactly what it is that the affect uses to pitch new oddities into the world.

m)In this desire the mutuality’s the everyday affects of life, the normality would balm the wound. Affects themselves a real enemy as they erode the gaps between a me or a you. Passion therefore operates to make itself a king in acting alone – it needs to avoid the traps of the everyday. It needs the special.

n)This is of course where life comes in. As it uses life itself, is can of the deepest level ignore everything else that is shares with humanity and any other encounter with the world than the fact that it is alive. It knows that life, and fee ls the sense in which it matters. It feels the sense it uses that life to create the world within it-  to create the axis o unreason.

o)This unreason is pitched against the affect (which it ignores) and against any rhyme or sense. It sees he devil may care, of life to justify what it is, and what it does.

p)In this of course any force of live itself support. Why not? it knows or thinks that it knows that an which way it will win. That is it too loathes the possible if that possible is refusing to help it. It understands the passionate and the need to conjure up worlds. It understands the needs to pitch feelings against the senses of the world and their normal affective practise.

q)More that that it understands that there is a  real sense in which it is the gainer in this passion. It assume it ha nothing to loose or of course. And if passion can destroy in some sense the whip hand or the dead hand of the possible then life will gain. In the mean time it will become powerful tand necessary in the passionate man. it will exercise a direct power over him, as the only resource ht he has, the only point he an draw upon. His passion surrenders him therefore to live control – a control it exercises gradually and with care.

r) Passion does not quite accept this control however. It has one sensible point to resist and resist it does, The passion knows where to find life, and will assuredly look for it in itself up river. However it will guard it own actual starting point the routine life it also leads from the madness of life itself. That is to protect itself passion hides the other world form which it sprung in to which it retreats – it hides it hide from the madness of life. I perseveres then a little of its original identity in this hiding. It thereby ensures hat life cannot destroy it all together – or at least cannot at first.

s)Passion therefore looks to life as the one force which in its anonymous devil may care power provides it with the support for the madness of the world it wants to encompasses. The only problem of course with all such conjuring of anonymous forces, is whether they ever will stay checked and caught, or whether they will break free.
