GALLERY of the

latest Roundhouse at Godney in Somerset, during construction.

   Jo designs the building and builds the frame, and can marshal craftspeople to do everything else down to the doorhandles! The structures are made from environmentally friendly forest thinnings and the structures and houses can be any shape, temporary or permanent.

Jo Barlow designs and builds handcrafted houses and bespoke buildings. From a barbecue area, summerhouse or folly to contemporary rustic sustainable houses for 21st century living. Each design is individually tailored to your needs and the surroundings. Wherever possible, local materials are used, to maintain the integrity of architecture in the landscape.

Prices & Sizes;

The Roundhouse shown is 20ft across and 23ft high with two storeys and had a number of extra features such as a raised floor. To buy one like this would be £25,000. However, smaller and/or simpler structures can start from as little as £3,000 for an outdoor barbecue area or £5,000 for a rustic pagoda.

Craftsmanship, artistry, proper treatment of the workforce and environmental care all go into Jo’s buildings, making them unique.
