Important note: Withies are rather seasonable. They are cheap and plentiful in winter and spring, but hardly (or take a lot more effort soaking, etc) to be had in summer and early part of autumn. The prices quoted here are the ‘spring prices’, and will necessarily increase in summer ,although we always do attempt to keep them as low as possible.

For full summer prices it is always best to contact us (click here)

Fences Hand constructed on site

For fences built on site the prices are the same, but please add  an extra one off £20 to all commissions.

Also note that for commissions out side Devon and Cornwal an extra charge for fuel will need to be charged.

But why have a hand built fence?

Hand woven fences  are bespoke, and designed to your own individual space and requirements, fitting round awkward shapes and can incorporate special designs and other materials.

They are integrally stronger and more secure than lengths of readymade willow hurdle or sustainable fencing that can be bought in garden centres.

Fences can also be made from or incorporate ‘waste’ wood or natural materials on site. For example, with leftover wood from tree felling, waste branches from a favourite tree that needed pruning, storm damage leftovers, etc.. Thereby recycling and keeping the fence completely in keeping with its surroundings.
