The Poems are intended to be read, performed and also visually engaging. S.V. has exhibited visual textwork made from acetates at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, and the pieces on the website come attended by images/photographs also by S.V..

MISSION STATEMENT
The aim is to break down the barriers between artforms. However abstract or literary poetry is, it is still a verbal art, and it is the delight of words that they can illuminate and shed meaning on paintings, sculptures and visual arts and artifacts, that they can be striking as visuals themselves, can interweave with the medium of film and the moving image, and perhaps most of all, that being spoken, they have an automatic link with theatre, performance and live art - including of course, in soundscapes and music.
