This list comprises articles where Charles Dickens’ novels and the characters in them are studied in depth for philosophical concepts, or ‘literary criticism meets ontology with legs’.

  1. 1)Waiting a Flo’ An essay on the status of Florence in Dombey and Son

  2. 2)Shifting the Temporal Perspective  Warning the Author is Dyslexic and this is as drafted by him...

  3. 3)Mariners and Majors. This essay attempts link Deleuze with the two above essays. It is a nice piece, but not a great success. It is 10000 words drafted by me!

  4. 4)Anothering Desire Long essay on Bleak House re-weaving the Spinoza conception of desire. This piece is firmly Red Alert, and is only partially drafted by its dyslexic author. It is also  63,000 words long. so perhaps one to dip into....

  5. 5)When is it Responsible to be Reasonable?  Essay interlinking common notions to Bleak House. This is the author’s favourite essay. However it is firmly  RED Alert in regard to dyslexia. He also could never bear to finish it, for reasons that will be obvious to those brave enough to read its 27,000 words.

See also Spinoza pages (much of which was written to attempt to codify what is raw here).
